The board is four stacked 4x4 levels, shown side by side.

Place your mark in any empty cell on any level.

Four in a row wins: inside a level, straight up through the levels, or along any diagonal, including the four that cut through the whole cube.

There are 76 winning lines in total.
Strategy
What actually wins games
The eight cells nearest the middle of the cube sit on the most lines. Fight for those first.
Check straight up every single turn. Vertical columns are the threat people miss most.
Corners of the cube belong to seven lines each, far more than a corner on a flat board.
Can you win it?
Oren Patashnik solved 4x4x4 Qubic in 1980 using a computer assisted proof. It is a first player win.
