Using the site
Tic Tac Toe Games is free to use. You do not need an account and you do not owe us anything. By using the site you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not agree with them, the fix is simple: close the tab.
What you can do
- Play any game here as often as you want, for personal or classroom use.
- Share links to any page, including saved game links.
- Use the rules and strategy pages as a reference, including when teaching.
- Link to us from anywhere without asking first.
What we ask you not to do
- Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people.
- Do not republish the site's text wholesale as your own.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to anything here.
- Do not click your own ads or ask others to, which breaks Google's rules and gets sites removed.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it up and working, but we do not promise it will always be available, always be free of bugs, or always behave the same way in every browser. Games run in your browser, so most problems come down to the device in front of you.
Your saved data
Scores, streaks and settings live in your browser's local storage. We have no copy and no way to restore them. Clearing your browser data, switching devices or using private browsing will lose them, and that is not something we can undo.
Advertising
Pages carry advertising served by Google. We do not control which ads appear or vouch for what they sell. If you see something that breaks Google's policies, report it through the ad's own controls and email us so we can look into it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this site. This is a free tic tac toe website, and the worst realistic outcome of a bug here is a lost game of noughts and crosses.
Intellectual property
Tic tac toe and its variants are traditional games in the public domain, and nobody owns the rules. The specific text, design and code of this site belong to Games Clown. The names of individual variants such as Gomoku, Notakto and Quantum tic tac toe belong to their respective originators and are used here to describe the games they name.
